Salt water solutions

A salt water solutions is a cleaning product that you can make in your own home and it is very easy and inexspensive.

 Just mix 1/4 tsp of non-iodized sea salt into 8oz of boiling water let it cool untill it is still warm but not too hot that it would hurt you and then apply to your piercing with a clean cotten bud or if the piercing is on you ear such as a coch then u can even dip your ear into a cup of the salt water solution and soak it in there for 5-10 mins.

what does salt water solutions do ?
Sea salt solutions will pull all of the impurities from your piercing cleaning it up for you. You cannot use regulat table salt  because it contains iodine which will irritate your piercing and will make it more likely to get infected. You can get non-iodized sea salt from you local supermarket.Do not use anything like alcohol,peroxide ,bactine or anything else that says do not use on puncture wounds (a piercing is a puncture wound).If you have a  tongue piercing then rinse your mouth out with either a salt water solution or a non-alcoholic mouth wash after you eat or drink anything other then water until it heals ,also try to maintain normal dental hygiene.
